In 2005 Dr. Richard Fryer joined Cameo College in educating top Aestheticians across the country in Medical Aesthetics treatments such as laser -specializing in both hair removal and photo facials, medical grade chemical acid peels and medical grade microdermabrasion. These are just a few of the areas of education a student of Cameo College will receive in the extensive Aesthetics program curriculum. Because many individuals choose to work in the medical field in today’s Beauty Industry, Medical Aesthetics treatments using injectables such as Botox, Dysport, Juvederm and Radiesse, are also areas in which our Medical Director, Dr. Richard Fryer must train and acquaint our students so they are able to assist in pre and post treatments.
Dr. Richard Fryer is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) and of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). Dr. Fryer attended medical school at the University of Utah and trained in general surgery at the University of Arizona. He attended the University of Utah for plastic surgery residency and upon completion of his training he was selected to remain at the University of Utah as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery to help train and instruct surgical residents in cosmetic and plastic surgery. In 2008 Dr. Fryer entered private practice in Draper, and continues as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery.
Dr Fryer includes a full comprehensive curriculum training for Cameo College students in a variety of Medical Aesthetics Procedures and Techniques in order to ensure a broad scope of education ensuring success in their chosen field. Graduating students are eligible to earn a “Medical Aesthetics Certification” by Dr. Fryer with successful completion of Cameo College’s Medical Aesthetics Segment and examination completion.
Dr. Fryer is also an owner of the renown high end Medical Spa - Clarity Skin, where Cameo College students have the ability to earn and complete a 1 week Medical Spa Internship at no additional educational fee.
